Brain injuries put in the spotlight by week-long campaign

Headway, the UK’s leading brain injury charity, is gearing up for a week-long campaign designed to raise awareness of the problems a brain injury can present.
The Brain Injury Awareness week is a poster campaign that kicks off on March 31.
The posters aim to highlight the day-to-day problems sufferers of a brain injury face, while explaining what form the injuries can take.
Campaigner Mark Dovey says motorcyclists account for a high proportion of all patients at Headway’s Nottingham centre. “If only one motorbiker takes note of the adverts and slows down, and we can save one life, we would have done our job,” he told MCN.
