Official Piaggio accessories launched

Piaggio has released a range of accessores for its latest 125cc scooter, as it looks to position the motorcycle as a viable alternative to cars.

The Easy Bag and Easy Case are designed to fit Piaggio’s Carnaby scooter, which the firm has redesigned for 2008. The bag attaches to the scooter’s leg shield, and is constructed from a synthetic fabric that is waterproof and abrasion resistant.

Piaggio’s Easy Case can store two open-face helmets, adding 32-litres of capacity to the scooter’s existing under-seat storage. The case is designed to fit onto the motorcycle’s luggage rack, and can be configured to be opened using the existing ignition key.

The Easy Bag is priced at £34.99, while the basic price of the case is £84.99. A colour-matched cover is available for the case, priced at £14.99.

Rounding out the list of Carnaby accessories is a replacement windshield, which is higher than the standard screen. The 4mm-thick screen is designed to be impact resistant and scratch proof, and is priced at £79.99.
