Scott Leathers still in business

Scott Leathers is still open for business, despite reports in the Sunday Telegraph that stated the company had gone bust, owner Jim Aird has told MCN.

Aird says the newspaper seems to have got confused after the firm rebranded itself as Scott Leathers, having previously been called Scott Leathers International.

“We’ve restructured the company,” Aird explained. “We used to export 50% of our good, but we’re not doing so much exporting now.”

Rather than going bust, the company is preparing to launch a new line of products in the coming weeks, along with a revamped website.

“The products are here now and are being photographed for the website. It’ll all be ready to go in a few weeks,” Aird said.
