January motorcycle sales drop 5.2%

New motorcycle sales in January 2008 dropped 5.2% compared to the same time period in 2007.

6594 bikes were sold during the month, compared to 6955 motorcycles sold in January 2007. Honda sold the most motorcycles with 920 units sold, and the BMW R1200GS was the largest selling individual motorcycle.
