Video: Fan gets NEC logo tattoo

One showgoer was so impressed with the NEC motorcycle show’s ‘Panther’ logo that he has had it tattooed on his back.

The fan, Jay Moore, asked show bosses to send him high resolution images of the panther so his local tattoo artist could copy it onto his back in ink. The panther was designed by graphic artist Simon Roberts who visited a number of bike shops to photograph bike parts to make up the composite image.

Show spokesman Harley Stephens said: “He loved the design so much he wanted as a tattoo. It was one of the more bizarre requests we have had but we were really happy to supply the pictures to Mr Moore so he could get the body art done.”

The tattoo has now been completed and a video uploaded on to Youtube of the procedure.
