Safer barriers won't be a priority

In this week’s MCN the issue of the dangers of crash barriers to bikers is aired, including a wish that the UK Govt would follow the French in implementing safer crash barriers.

Is this the France where they still have city centre underpasses wuth no crash barriers at all?

That apart, there’s a statistic in the article that only 1% of motorists are bikers, yet it goes on to suggest that millions be spent on upgrading crash barriers to safeguard bikers. I can understand why it won’t be a priority…
