Oddball Camera Van in Northampton.

On my way home from work on 20/08/2008 at 6.30am, I passed through Weston Favell in Northampton. On the Wellingborough Road, just past the tesco filling station heading towards Wellingborough I saw this Fiat Ducato van parked on the verge at the side of the road.

Thinking this was odd I turned and did another pass to look closely at it, to see if the rear window panels were of the sliding variety. While the windows don’t open, there did turn out to be something strange with the vehicle.

As I was walking back to my car, a fast response unit arrived and one of the officers got out of the car and went to the side door which slid open. Sadly I didn’t get a photo of this, but as you can see there is a shot of the van. Not in the picture is a ventilation dome which is fitted to the roof. However the rear windows are black tinted and concave which give a very strange reflection. Keep your eyes open for it around Northamptonshire.
