Don't let disability ruin your biking life

I’m Carl and I’m 47. After a huge off on my Fireblade in sept 05 due to a god damn pikey overtaking a horse on a bridge on my side of the roadI’m now a paraplegic.

I just want to tell you about me now and how really I suppose nothing has really changed – I just want to give hope to other bikers in my position that your life isn’t over ‘cos you cant walk or ride a bike again.

I’m now the proud owner of a HS6 rewaco trike. It has the 1550 Harley twin cam motor in it with a supercharger now fitted!. This has given it the balls of an efalump!

I’m thinking of renting my services out as a stump puller lol. I also have a caravan for my trike painted in the same style so it looks like a right proper rig when they are togeter.

I’m going to the TT and whenever the sun’s out this summer I will be out all the time.
