Speeding YouTube rider hits the headlines

A Honda CBR600F rider has caused uproar in the general press after posting a video on YouTube that shows the bike hitting close to 150mph on a dual carriageway in West Sussex.

The nine-minute long film shows the rider consistently travelling at three-figure speeds along the A27 from Shoreham to Lewes.

Local police are now trying to trace the rider after viewing the footage, which was shot around 5pm when traffic was starting to build-up on some parts of the road.

YouTube has removed the video from its site, claiming the film breaks its rules, however you can still view the clip on local newspaper The Argus’ website.

In December, MCN reported on a film posted on Live Link that appeared to show the rider clocking 180mph on British roads.
