‘Valentino Rossi’ captured by traffic light camera

Valentino Rossi has been ticketed for running a red light in his car. The Rossi in question is a rider from England, who changed his name by Deed Poll after becoming frustrated with the number of times the police pulled him over while he was riding.

Stuart Jacob used an online version of deed poll to make the change, which has seen him put all his details into the name of the seven-time world champion.

The ‘new Rossi’ paid £12 to make the change, and also managed to register a Valentino Rossi e-mail address.

The Rossi fan told MCN he’s not been pulled over by the police since changing his name, so maybe he’s inherited the luck of the Italian racer along with his name?
