A driver who was found guilty of attacking a motorcyclist with a mallet, has been sentenced to 150 hours of community service.
At a trial in March, motorist Bernard Docherty was found guilty of a breach of the peace by Edinburgh Crown Court in March, after attempting to hit motorcyclist Paul Wisdom with a mallet at a set of traffic lights in the city in August 2007.
Docherty was also charged with assault and dangerous driving, but the charges were not proven.
