THIS was a crash!

Riding home with 2 mates, wife on board, I was leading, on the A271. As we were passing a shop on my left some dozy cow in a Merc decided to right turn straight into me. Not just SMIDSY, but sorry i didn’t see ANY of you!

I only flew about 20 feet, just missing three posts, but knocked out for about 10 mins and breaking my wrist, shoulder and a few ribs. As it was almost a head on collision the wife got launched about 20 feet in the air vertically as well as 50 feet down the road. She landed on her head (so no damage there) and crashed on to her side. 2 breaks in her pelvis, broken tibia, 2 breaks in her left foot and both heels with impacted fractures. 4 days in hospital for me and 5 for the wife. Coppers tell me that they’re doing the driver for “undue care.”
