Rider gives unwanted bikes to Oxfam

A generous biker helped Oxfam raise £1,700 by handing over two motorcycles he didn’t use anymore.

The Honda Transalp and Triumph Daytona were auctioned in Colchester on behalf of Oxfam and generated enough money to provide emergency relief for 1,000 people.

An Oxfam spokeswoman said: “The donor was impressed at what an easy option it was, with Oxfam able to collect the motorcycles and auction them. He really made a difference to thousands of lives.”
