Name and shame bike thieves

Just the other week I had my bike stolen out of my back garden.

Just like most of you I had saved up hard and after many years bought the bike I dreamt of a brand new 2005 R1. But when I came home the other night she was gone and I felt sick to the pit of my stomach, why me, why my bike.

I have just been in contact with another now ex R1 owner. His 2006 model was also alarmed and locked up safely until they took his pride and joy.
 
So that’s two R1s in two weeks, these bikes are going somewhere so lets find out who is nicking them and where there going. Someone knows something ?
 
What I am asking is that all true bikers look in their local papers and forward the names and addresses of any one caught and convicted of stealing our bikes to the major bike publishers like MCN, Bike, Superbike Performance Bikes etc etc.

 
Lets name and shame the thieves and especially in their local area. I am sure their parents and people they know wouldn’t be too impressed when they found out what they do for a living. 
 
Just imagine the next time they went to your local meet and a big poster with there name address and photo was on it or drop a line on the Internet !! 

Major Insurance companies Like Bennetts & Carole Nash I am sure will support this, as it will hopefully reduce the amount of thefts occurring and keep all our premiums down.

Don’t forget every time one of our bikes is nicked we all end up out of pocket and lose that feeling of riding a bike that we cherish. Please forward this email to all your biking mates.
 
Lets make them think again before they decide to steal our freedom.
