My first big tour - Scotland

Last week I headed to the bonny land for a week of touring around on the bike.

Furthest I’ve ever been away from home on it and for the longest time.

The day after we got there we met up with a few other MCN forum users and went for a nice long ride.

I got all my bad luck out of the way which included someone crashing into my bike in a car park, bless them, though where others would have driven away they sat and waited for an hour to confess what they had done. Almost restores your faith in people.

Then we were pulled twice by the police and had a few hairy moments with the black sticky stuff. Covered over a thousand miles and had a load of fun!

I never thought I’d do it – only been riding just over a year and the SV is restricted.

To anyone else who’s never done it and is thinking about it – just do it you won’t regret it!
