Council invites nominations for worst roads

Councillors in Portishead in north Somerset are asking local residents to nominate the most dangerous and under-maintained roads in the town.

Leaflets are being distributed to residents with details of how to make a nomination.

The move follows a pledge by the newly Conservative-run council to spend millions of pounds on road improvements.
