More carrots and less stick!

If like me you’re a bit annoyed by the condescending attitude of our M25-encircled overlords you’ll probably like my idea to replace the existing ‘safety camara scheme’ for one that rewards good driving (within the context of speed limits, as we’ve all seen some legally awful driving in our time on the road).

My idea is that a centralised system of cameras is in control of the amount of road tax you pay. Therefore speeding puts your tax up and not speeding brings your tax down. Why don’t we push the boat out and suggest you can even win a free MoT or vouchers for exceptional driving as well as earning a zero road tax balance?
