Motorcycle crash boxer was over the limit

The former two-time boxing World Champion, Diego Corrales, who died last month in a motorcycle accident, was riding while three times over the alcohol limit.

Corrales, known as ‘Chico’ died in a collision involving three vehicles on May 7. He was riding a 2007 Suzuki GSX-R1000. Toxicology tests revealed his blood-alcohol content was 0.25 per cent at the time of the crash while the legal limit in the state of Nevada is 0.08 per cent.
