Tandem speed camera

We were travelling along the A40 Llandovery road as a group of five bikes (six people in all) when Dyfed Powys police pulled over the first two bikes from the group. One was my son, the other my brother-in-law. The two other bikers carried on to the cafe. We stopped to see what the problem was. During the heated conversation with the officers they were told they were caught in tandem, both travelling at 102mph. They were both charged with this and have both been summoned to appear in court.

Has anybody heard of this police camera that can catch two motorbikes travelling at same speed at same time, on one reading? One officer also had a ride on my son’s bike to test if it was restricted even though he was told it was and we had a certificate to prove it. He admitted it was restricted then he said he nearly had 100mph out of it. Has anybody out there had a similar experience with the Dyfed Powys police?
