Roadkill research
Updated: 19 November 2014
All motorists are being asked to count the number of animal carcasses they see on the roads to help experts calculate how many are still alive.
The roadkill survey is the seventh of its kind organised by the Mammals Trust UK.
Previous surveys found rabbits are most likely to get flattened under our wheels, followed by hedgehogs, foxes, badgers and grey squirrels.
