Never-raced 500GP prototype

THE Ducati motorcycle heritage stand at World Ducati Week, exhibited a 1970’s 500GP prototype that never made it to a racing grid.  

The 90-degree air cooled v-twin used the tried and tested desmodromic valve system, but couldn’t compete with the multi-cylinder bikes.
