Stupid councils

MCN’S file on Britain’s stupidest councils is growing but we’re convinced there are more worthy contenders out there – and we need you to tell us about them. 

Nominees so far include a council that’s refurbished disused bus stops while roads are in disrepair. 

It’s a serious threat to reigning champion Islington Council, in London, where MCN recently revealed £250,000 had been spent on speed humps while dangerous potholes were left untreated. 
 

But we’re sure there are councils out there even more stupid than both of these.
