Statement from Yamaha Motor UK regarding the R1 competition:

R1 Competition Announcement

Following our recent “Win a R1 Competition” it has come to our attention that unfortunately not all Yamaha dealers were open on the designated Competition night (Friday). We sincerely apologise for this situation and for the inconvenience and disappointment this obviously caused.

For those customers who visited a dealer which was closed we can at least put your mind at rest; had your name been drawn and we had subsequently found the dealership closed, you would have been contacted directly. 

In fact the winners were from dealerships open on the night and were in attendance

Whilst it is difficult to reply to individual comments we would like to hear from you if you visited a dealer which was closed on the night.
