Grant for charity

The Disabled Motorcyclists Association has been awarded £4,500 from Lloyds Foundation, part of Lloyds TSB.

The grant has been awarded for producing their magazine and leaflets, which last year alone helped them to answer more than 300 requests.

The charity supports disabled riders by providing guidance, discounts and inspiration from other disabled people.

Chair of the charity World Champion Fiona Beale is delighted about receiving the grant which is not the first the charity had obtained support for the Foundation. She said: “This is more good news after our successful attendance at the NEC bike show  recently and we look forward to continuing producing our color magazine which plays a important part in the charity.”
