Evel Knievel in 1972

In November of 1972 I went to see Evel in Atlanta, Georgia (I live in Tennessee).

He was too cracked up to jump that day, but he did a few wheelies. Another fellow in an Evel costume did a couple of ramp to ramp jumps to take up the space.

Also featured that day was a 1 mile dirt track race. There were one or two 750 Suzuki water buffalo flat trackers in the race. They were very ragged in the corners, but it was Star Ship Enterprise down the straights.

They did not have an overall good result, but it was a plesant day.
