Drink-driver reported by daughter

A 70 year-old woman was banned from driving last week after being reported for drink-driving by her own daughter.

Kathleen William’s daughter Helen was prompted to report her mother on her mobile after a near-accident while passenger in her car. She was found to be one and a half times over the legal breath alcohol limit. She was banned for one year and fined £140 plus £60 costs.
