TT Commemoration

Heroes of the Isle of Man TT Race have been chosen to commemorate the Centenary of the historic event.

The Isle of Man Post Office is celebrating the landmark in 2007 by producing a unique range of stamps and coins.

It was announced last week 14 times winner Mike Hailwood is to have his own stamp and coin, now stars such as Joey Dunlop, Dave Molyneux and Giacomo Agostini will join the line up.

Fans of the annual event have been working with the Isle of Man Post Office and the Philatelic Bureau to choose which riders would be used for the merchandise.

The project has taken two years to complete with Duke Video and Lily Publications working in conjunction with each other.

Other items being produced for the 2007 event include a Centenary Deluxe Box Collection, All Time TT Greats Centenary Print and TT 100 Book.
