Reader comments on NEC crash display

I think a lot of people missed the point with the crash display at the NEC- of the bike hitting the car turning right. The biker was obviously accelerating to overtake the car as it approached a right turn junction. No experienced biker worth his salt would attempt an overtake when approaching a right turn junction. It is a definite danger zone and sadly all too clearly confirmed by the terrible consequences shown. Motorists often do not give the level of concentration needed by bikers when on the road as they are distracted by the air con level, cd changer, mobile phone etc.

 As for indicating, how often have we all seen that car that doesn’t use the optional extra i.e. indicators. Remember guys think once, think twice, think dozy motorist!
