Charity bale sponsor

Plans are well underway for the Aberdare Park Races, Premier Road Racing event in Wales, which raises money for charity.

The weekend is held at Aberdare Park, 30 miles North West of Cardiff. Races this year included the Welsh Open, 600cc and TT Superbikes with names such as Ian Lougher and Chris Palmer lining up amongst the competitors.

For the 2007 event organisers are giving the biking community a chance to help them out by sponsoring a bale.

There are 5,000 bales up for grabs at £1 each.

Individuals or organisations are welcome to put their name to a sponsor and will get their name in the event programme as well as on the side of their bale.

Sponsors will also be named on the event web-site for 12 months.

Charities set to benefit from this year’s event include Children’s Hospice, Ty-Hafan, and Macmillan Cancer Support.
