F800ST at Beaulieu

Those attending Beaulieu Motorcycle World this weekend will be the first to see the BMW F800ST since the unveilng in South Africa earlier this year. The bike aims to take on the Japanese sport tourer market with a new motor producing 85hp and 63lb/ft of tourque and a claimed dry weight of under 190kg.

Motorcycle World takes place this weekend at the Beaulieu National Motorcycle Museum in New Forest, Hampshire. 30,000 bike entusiasts made the journey last year and even more are expected in 2006 with bikes such as Hailwood’s Honda Four and ex-racers Mick Grant, Phil Read and many more in attendance.
