Day of Champs Thursday

Don’t forget the Day of Champions event takes place tomorrow, Thursday, June 29, 2006, to raise money for Riders for Health in the build-up for the British MotoGP round on Sunday, July 2, 2006.

You’ve got the chance to meet Suzuki MotoGP stars John Hopkins and Chris Vermeulen at the Victoria Pub in Coalville for the ride-in to the Donington park circuit along with former British Superbike star Niall Mackenzie.

Auction lots which will go to one lucky bidder on the day include leathers from Marco Melandri, Shinya Nakano, Loris Capirossi, Sete Gibernau, Makoto Tamada and James Ellison, a helmet from John Hopkins, boots and gloves from Chris Vermeulen and leathers, boots and a helmet from Colin Edwards.
