Yamaha sales up

1 of 1

Yamaha has announced its profits for the year and claims its worldwide bike sales have jumped 21%.

The company’s net profit reached a massive 64 billion yen (£309 million), which they say was mainly due to strong sales of small bikes in the Far East as well as growing sales of bikes in the US.

The figures represent a 16% growth in profit over 2004.
