Site use booms: Jan 06

Total site traffic on motorcyclenews.com was up almost 20% this January compared to January 2005. It’s up 46.3% compared to December.

The figures – compiled from industry-standard Webtrends – show more of you are visiting more often, too.

5,588,695 page impressions were recorded in January 2006 – up from 4,660,308 in January 2005.

Unique users (the number of individual users accessing the site) rose to 290,385 for the month – that’s up 11.9% on January 05. The number of visits in total reached 595,242 – up 12.5% on January 05.

From December 05 to January 06 the growth is even more spectacular with page impressions up 46.3%, unique users up 26.8% and visits up 27.5%.

Registrations crashed through the 180,000 barrier on February 1, too.
