Is this bike art?

Sculptor Anthony Wilson has turned a Triumph head into an alien in his latest creation, ‘Triumphant Space Invader’.

And it’s been accepted into the prestigious Open Arts Exhibition at the Black Swan and Rock Lane Chapel galleries. WIlson has used scrap bike parts for art before including his Silver Lady scuplture, which has Yamaha parts, and another piece of work which utilises a Suzuki frame.

“Bike fans have a great time wandering around the sculptures and identifying the parts and the bikes they came from,” said Wilson, “which is not always easy as pieces that left the factory as motorcycle engineering have changed into parts of gigantic space aliens.”
