Truck attack on dealer

A dumper truck attack on Pidcock’s BMW dealership in Long Eaton resulted in a slow speed chase across fields and through woods, according to website This Is Nottingham.

Read the full report here (external site). The 20-minute pursuit, at speeds of up to 20mph, ended when the truck was surrounded by six squad cars. It had allegedly been driven through the window of the Pidcock showroom. The driver fled the scene when disturbed.

A 23-year-old man from Kettering has been arrested.

No bikes were damaged but Pidcock’s say repairs to the building will cost around £14,000.
