Buyers opt for old Fazer

If you’ve got an old style Yamaha Fazer 1000 now’s the time to trade it in – it’s more popular than the new model.

All the bad press the 06 model has had about its dodgy fueling has left people clamouring for the old model.

“We had one lady phone up asking for a Fazer and I told her we didn’t have any in but I knew someone would be trading one in in two weeks,” said Webbs’ Paul Davies. “She put her deposit down on the strength of my description over the phone despite the fact that neither of us had even seen the bike.”

Davies explained the negative reviews of the 06 Fazer have put people off and they’re desperate to buy as new a version of the previous model as possible so they can keep it until the new bike gets sorted.
