Bid on charity ride

1 of 1

You can support a charity ride from England to Moscow for Children In Need by bidding on the kit used by riders Graham Hoskin and Andrew Summers.

The pair of keen bikers are riding for the charity Children in Need and plan to travel through France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Belarus and Russia. That will mean an average of around 600 miles per day, starting on October 15, 2005.

They’ll be riding a Yamaha TDM900 and FJR1300, both supplied by Yamaha Motor UK, and they’ve agreed to supply us with regular updates from the road to see how they get on.

But when they return, all the kit, clothing, products and services donated by the motorcycle inudstry will be up for grabs on www.motorcyclenews.com.

They’ve already got clothing from Frank Thomas, Craft, Oxtar and Knox, so there will be quite a range of items on offer. And the proceeds from all the auctions will go to Children In Need.

Keep checking the site to find out how Graham and Andrew get on.
