Free first aid course

Free courses in motorcycle-focused first aid are being made available free to riders in King’s Lynn on November 12.

The course is being funded by insurer Bikesure after they heard about the efforts of Laura Pettifar (pictured). Laura’s boyfriend Tony Petch died in a bike accident near King’s Lynn in 2003. She has been keen to publicise first aid to riders in the locality ever since.

Thanks to her efforts St John Ambulance is now running a course in Kings Lynn. She got the support of her local newspaper and through that, the funding from Lynn-based Bikesure.

The course is on November 12. Attendance is free but places are limited, so anyone interested should contact Laura on 07990 526 433.
