Save on ride for Sheene

1 of 1

You can save the £10 entry fee to take part in the Sheene Run if you join in this year’s National Rally. The closing date for entries is May 31, 2005.

The miles you rack up could help you succeed in MCN’s £5000 summer mileage competition (see link, right). You only need to do 1500 this summer to qualify. CLICK HERE

All riders who take part in the National Rally (over the weekend of July 2 and 3) will finish at Rugby final control before 10am to enjoy a hearty breakfast before taking part in the Sheene Parade through the streets of Rugby led by BBC commentator Steve Parrish and other leading riders on some of Barry’s race bikes.

The National Rally starts at 2pm on the Saturday from numerous controls around the country from Fleetwood in the North to Yeovil in the South. You have to navigate via numerous controls to finish in Rugby on Sunday morning.

The event is linked to Mencap but you do not have to raise money for this or any other charity unless you want to. The Rally is open to all full licence holders. Download an entry form and regulations HERE by May 31, 2005. The entry fee is £22.

If you aren’t taking part in the National Rally, you can still join in the Sheene Run – it costs £10 (pre-booked) and can be booked here: www.thesheenerun.com
