Used prices set to rise

With the new biking season approaching the price of used bikes looks set to increase over the next couple of months, making now the perfect time to bag a bargain.

According to industry price monitor, Glass’s Guide, sports bikes are the most affected by this rise in price. But they also say that Sports bike prices stayed pretty much the same during February so it looks like now is the time to grab a bargain before the rising prices take hold.

A quick look through our Bikes for Sale section revealed loads of sports bike bargains to be had, whatever bike you’re looking for.

This 2004 Suzuki GSX-R600 has only done 900 miles and is still in totally stock condition, but you can get it for just £4999.

This 2004 Kawasaki ZX-6R is £4995 and comes with a Scorpion end can as well as the original, and has only done 2169 miles.

You could have this Honda CBR600RR for only £5200 with just 900 miles on the clock. It is as standard apart from a Datatool System 3 alarm.

With the Yamaha R6 pretty much unchanged since 2003, this bike offers a great deal at £4200 with jus 3700 miles on the clock and still 5 months warranty remaining.

If 1000s are more your thing this 2004 Honda Fireblade has only done 1600 miles and comes with a Meta Alarm for £7200.

For something a bit special you could try this Harris special Suzuki GSX-R1000. It’s a 2003 bike with only 500 miles on it but almost everything on the bike has been touched with Harris performance parts.

This Yamaha R1 has only done 1850 miles since the beginning of 2003 and can be picked up for £5900 with a carbon can and original.

The Kawasaki ZX-10R has held it’s price pretty well in it’s first year on sale but you could pick up this early 2004 bike for£6995 with only 3300miles on it.
