Summer arrives early

Summer temperatures are coming to Britain this weekend with temperatures set to rise as high as 70-degrees.

Already it has proved to be the warmest mid-March since 1990 and most of the UK basked in warm sunshine on Friday.

So if you are looking for a ride-out to make the most of it check our What’s On section for biking activities around the nation.

On Friday they expect rain across Scotland but most other areas will be dry with bright or sunny intervals – becoming “very warm”.

The BBC’s latest forecast suggests warm temperatures and dry roads.
