Site listed for top award

motorcyclenews.com has been short-listed in the prestigious 2005 Periodical Publishers Association awards for editorial and publishing excellence.

The site is short-listed alongside Disability Now, Empire, FHM, Nature, Radio Times and Vogue in the Interactive Consumer Magazine of the Year category.

The awards will be announced at Grosvenor House in London’s Park Lane on May 4.

There have been 900 entries across 22 categories for this year’s awards.

Britain’s No1 bike site received a certificate for being shortlisted in the Association of Online Publisher’s ‘integration of media’ award and won Emap Automotive’s Best Brand Extension award in 2004.

It was highly commended by the PPA in 2002 and won two awards in the dedicated PPA(interative) awards the previous year.
