Wheel wins licence back

MCN learned on Monday evening that the Wheel at Worfield has won its licence back – meaning the meetings are back on.

The victory follows police action which saw the Shropshire pub meet closed down on Wednesday June 22. The following Wednesday 1000 riders turned out in a peaceful protest to show their support for the event and the licensee.

We understand magistrates have imposed conditions on the licence which will limit the numbers of bikes allowed to attend. More marshalls will be required too.
