Somebody loves us! The Scottish tourist authorities to be precise.

To prove it they are launching a campaign to get more of us to ride there. VisitScotland is going all out to help the tourism industry sharpen up on how it can make holidays better for bike riders.

And Scottish Minister for Parliament Margaret Curran has been quoted by the BBC backing the campaign saying Scotland is a “fantastic country for motorbike touring”.

VisitScotland has signed up Ewan McGregor’s fighter pilot brother Colin to help out. He and fellow rider Stewart Buchanan have launched a website to draw more riders to Scotland: scotlandbybike.com
