Evel has to ride alone

Evel Knievel is so ill even his wife Krystal is refusing to ride pillion with him at Friday’s (July 29) fourth annual Even Knievel Day in Butte, US.

Reports in the US say he’s preparing to ride with “a naked blow-up doll” instead.

Knievel has lung disease, diabetes and hepatitis. This week’s MCN (July 27 issue) reveals the stunt legend has had his gravestone made and shipped to his home after being told he has no more than three years to live.

On a recent ride out a passing motorist had to stop and help him turn his bike in the road.
