Kneivel loses 'Pimp' case

Stunt legend Evel Kneivel has failed in his attempt to sue an American website which captioned a picture of him with two women “You’re never too old to be a pimp”.

The U.S. appeals court ruled against Knievel on Tuesday, January 4, saying that in the context of its usage, the term lost its derogatory meaning. In this case, they reasoned, it was probably intended as a compliment.

The 66-year-old was photographed at an award show in 2001 with his arms around his wife and a second young woman.

But Evel isn’t finished yet. He’s now aiming to appeal the case in the US Supreme Court.
