MCN has joined forces with the European Superbike School to bring a new style of track days to the UK aimed at making them more accessible to more riders.

The School will be running all of the MCN trackdays this year at circuits across Britain and Europe and with the likes of Mick Doohan as instructors, they can’t be missed.

There are four different types of track day on offer:

OPTION ONE: 2-3 day Premier Schools £399 to £499

These are the top-notch days available and feature one instructor for every two riders throughout the whole day and is tailored to all riders – from novice to experienced.

As well as classroom-based tuition throughout the day that will cover bike preparation, suspension set-up and riding psychology there’s also tuition on braking and turning, throttle and gears on top of lines and body position.

Some of these schools will be held abroad at European tracks like Nogaro in France.

OPTION TWO: One day Sports Day £249

These are the days best suited to novice riders who have none or little experience on track with one instructor for every 10 riders. Classroom sessions will be done throughout the day with tuition on track done every other session.

All bikes will be fitted with electronic transponders to monitor progress throughout the day and will be used to split up the traditional novice, intermediate and experienced groups into smaller groups according to ability.

OPTION THREE: One day Pace Day £115

This gives all riders a chance to practice their skills on track with two instructors with each group going through all of the elements that make up each track.

The instruction is tailored to the ability of each group so everyone gets as much track time as possible throughout the day.

Representatives from tyre manufacturers, tuning houses and suspension experts will also be on hand to talk about their products and how to get the best out of them.

OPTION FOUR: One day Pace Day Special From £89

Aimed at more experienced riders this cheaper day is virtually identical to the Pace Day but has the day split into four, rather than three, groups which means more track time.
