Long Way Round II?

Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman are looking at reliving their epic round-the-world bike trip with a new journey travelling the length of Africa.

So far the pair have no definite plans, but say they want to get back on their bikes. Boorman said: “It’s a possibility. We’d like to do Africa but there’s no date or confirmation yet – if it happens, it happens.

“In the meantime I want to do the Dakar rally next year, filming a documentary as I go to show what it’s really like for most riders, but I need to get a good team behind me as I don’t want to be finishing stages at 5am and then having to work on the bike on my own.”
