More than 2000 bikes converged on the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham on Sunday at the culmination of the Motorcycle Aid Snowball for the victims of the Asian Tsunami.

Organisers say 2200 bikes turned up, carrying 3000 people who helped to raise just over £7500.

Almost £4000 of that came from sponsorship and £2750 from an auction with another £815 raised by a tombola.

The whole event was organised and run within six weeks.

motorcyclenews.com offered our support with a front page link to the organiser’s site for the entire the duration of the campaign.
