05 Harley sells for £400K

When is a 2005 Harley Road King worth £398,000? When it’s auctioned by US TV presenter Jay Leno and signed by the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Michael Moore, Dennis Leary, Dustin Hoffman, Donald Trump and Leno himself.
The bike – donated by Harley – made $800,100 with 95% of that going to the American Red Cross International Disaster Relief effort. The winning online bid came from someone known only as “steinterdwm”. It comes with a two-year warranty…
Leno ran a similar auction after 9/11. That Harley was signed by the likes of Tom Cruise and Denzel Washington and went for $360,000.
